Meet Brittany and Garrison! Aren’t they such a sweet and gorgeous couple?! Brittany and I actually grew up in NW Arkansas together and she was one of my first friends! Most of my favorite memories growing up had Brittany in them! It is so neat that we both live in the DFW area and that I had the opportunity to photograph her and her future husband’s pictures! I also can’t wait to take her bridal portraits this Spring! Be on the look out for those! For their shoot, we took pictures at the Fort Worth Stockyards, The First United Methodist Church in downtown Fort Worth, the T&P loading docks, and in front of the downtown post office.
Sometimes complications in the session turn out to be awesome!! That was the case for this session! When we arrived at our location the weather absolutely fell apart. We had freezing cold wind, darkness, and a storm definitely rolling in! So Ryan and Katie had an idea of a spot right around the corner from their house by the lake that was pretty remote and would block the wind. I love how the mood of this location and weather come together!
Ryan, Katie, and Kyla are such greats friends of me and my husband! We are both having boys three weeks apart! It has been so much fun having a pregnancy buddy. I imagine you will be seeing some posts of our sweet boys together soon! In the mean time, check out their last family pictures as a family of 3!
I am so excited to have photographed this family again for the second year in a row! See their post from last year HERE! Not only is this family STUNNING, they are so kind and fun! We took these pictures at the Van Zandt Cottage in Fort Worth, Texas. I am hoping for many more years of photographing this family!!
